I am in a hotel a room and on the TV guide there is the option to connect to the TV using Chromecast. I click on it and screen goes to the typical Chromecast landing page of a beautiful random picture. I proceed to my Google home application and when I try to add this new hotel room TV device it does not see it.
Thanks for reaching out. To confirm, is the Chromecast that is present in the hotel already set up and connected to the network? If yes, please connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as the Chromecast then you may now try to cast from a Chromecast -enabled app on your phone.
