Connection issue

My chrome cast is constantly loosing connection from any of my apps. I have checked my firmware is up to par, on my local network etc. any suggestions? We watch tv and constantly randomly loose connection and have to start all over

Same thing happened to me on all of my Chromecasts. The problem was the IPv6 settings on my Fios Router. Once i changed from Stateless to Stateful IPv6 address assignment the connection is stable again 

I would have to call our cable company I believe they have sheetings locked. But we have multiple and one one of them randomly shuts down

@Htibbetts, how's it going? Were you able to contact your cable or internet company? Do you still need help? If so, please reboot your Chromecast and Wi-Fi router. Resetting your Chromecast might also help.
