Could not communicate with your Googlecast

I am trying to connect Google chromecast to my new Internet provider . I keep getting the message 'could not communicate with your chrome cast '

I'm sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that internet issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • Have you already factory reset the Chromecast?
  • Have you tried forgetting the old network first?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
