Different emails for google home and Netflix account

Can I set up my Chromecast TV using my google email, but redeem my Netflix credit that is linked to a different email account? Or do I have to set up my Chromecast TV using the same account that is already linked to my Netflix account?

Hello!

You make a netflix account from scratch when redeeming if you dont already have one. You can use any email that works with netflix.

Hey @NoCages you can set it up that way if you'd like without any problems. The only annoyance you will probably find is that using voice for Netflix might cause a hiccup as your Home app is under one account and Netflix is under another. The linking may have improved since the launch -- but early on, I ended up switching my Netflix account to the Nest account to be able to use voice commands.

Get your credit and if it works you're golden, if not, just change your login on Netflix to match the Google account.
