Hi
I have a Chromecast with GoogleTV and it was working fine with Disney+.
Now Disney+ started to show an error without text and after erasing the cache it shows the Unable to connect.
I also did a factory reset on this "Chromecast with GoogleTV " and I still have the same issue.
Disney+ works fine from my phone and chromecasting it works, but not from the device as it should.
Everything else on the device works fine , like YouTube and Netflix.
Chromecast with GoogleTV: Cast Firmware: 1.52.253741
Is there any other tip that can help me?
Regards

@Martini generally you will need to authorize your CCwGTV with the Disney app if you want to direct play from the CCwGTV dongle.
Basically, you install the Dinsey app to CCwGTV, launch the app and choose login. What should happen is Disney will provide a secondary screen that you need to use to authorize the connection to an existing account. Sometimes they give you a code and a website where you'd enter the code or they will ask you to log in and register/link accounts and the new device from their website. Have you done this?

Hi
I'm still locked with this issue. I had deleted the data of the Disney+ application, reinstall it, and even given it permissions to the Mic. I don't even get to the part when you are supposed to log on to Disney+ with your account.
I have Disney+ 2.2.0rc5. YouTube and Netfix is working fine on this Google TV. I have no idea if it may be a router issue (I have Google Wifi 1st gen)
I had confirmed on another Android TV and my Android phone that the account works.

I'm sorry to hear that you're still having these Disney+ issues! With the issue only happening with the Disney+ Google TV application, and not on any other device or apps, I'd recommend you get a hold of Disney+ support to see if anyone has experienced this issue on their end.
Let me know if they have a fix to this error!
Best regards,
Jeran

Hey there!
We haven't heard back from Martini, and it's been a few days, so I'm locking the thread. As always, feel free to make a new thread if you have any more questions or concerns.
Thank you for your help, GothamNY!
