Is chromecast TV something I can use for seminars, trade show display, open house?

Looking for a big screen TV to utilize with a presentation

In theory, absolutely.

However, keep in mind that Chromecast devices were designed to the home environment and are made to be easy to connect to and use.  ANYONE that is on the same network as the Chromecast can cast to it without restriction.

So, you will want to put it on a network that is NOT shared with everyone.  Otherwise, part-way through your presentation someone could start casting something else.

That may be fine in an open-house where you totally control access to WiFi, but may be a big problem in a trade show.
