I factory reset the chromecast. Same wifi. Unplugged it. Plugged it back in. Re-download the app. Allowed all permissions. Reconnected the thing and now im getting a screen on my TV that says ready to cast and my phone says decide can't be found 😡. I have a galaxy s10. App is up to date
I have casted to my TV for months and now all of a sudden the past few weeks it only seems to work when it feels like it. So annoyed!

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Chromecast issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:
1st Generation Chromecast's do still work, however, since they are several years old, they can be prone to issues over time. I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
