Is it possible for one Google Chromecast withe Google TV to support two remotes. My wife and I sit beyond arms reach when we watch TV and each of us would like to use a remote.
Thank for your help.

Hi there,
KQRR4449, Chromecast with Google TV only supports one Voice Remote at a time. You may try the suggestions provided by Byteguy and bigskydolphin, but take note that it may or may not work.
Thanks for the help, Byteguy, Jeran, and bigskydolphin. I appreciate it!
Thanks,
Jennifer

Mine allows me to use the original remote plus the remote on the Google tv app on my phone, so maybe? I can't see why not.

BigSky's solution is the most elegant.
If you have an Android phone that supports the on-phone remote, use that along with your regular remote.
Note: the on-phone remote will not include all the same buttons and may not be able to do volume and TV power-on/off because a lot of TVs use IR for that.

The answer should be yes. I also have hooked up my husband's Xbox controller as a remote. All you do is add a Bluetooth remote in settings. Just try it.

HI Jennifer,
Thanks very much for the information. It might be nice to add the ability to use 2 remotes in the future.
In the meantime, I've been trying Google Voice Assistant with Google Home on my phone and it works great. It took a fair amount of work to set it up but I can now ask for a program from a streaming service and play it on the TV via Chromecast. Pretty slick!
Thanks again for your help.
