Does Google Chromecast with Google TV support WPA3?

Basically, I got a new Chromecast with Google TV (HD) and tried to connect it to WIFI but it didn't work. I tried restarting my router but nothing helped. Then, I tried setting my WIFI Router to WPA2 only, and it worked. Does that mean GCCwGTV does not support WPA3 standards?

Hi kerim,

Thanks for posting. Yes, the Chromecast with Google TV (HD) doesn't support WPA3 wireless connection. It only supports wireless security networks such as WEP, WPA and/or WPA2.

I hope that answered your question.

Best,

Jennifer
