Does my Chromecast with Google TV support 4K 60 fps

Does my "Chromecast with Google TV" support 4K 60 fps? I just bought one for $29 at Walmart, the box and the user guide only says "Chromecast with Google TV 4K" and does NOT say 60 fps. But there is another sale for $49 and explicitly described as "Chromecast with Google TV 4K 60 fps HDR" with a model or SKU number as E2GOCHROM4KSW. I do NOT want to get a 4K 30fps casting device, that is why I need to find out if my chromecast support 60 fps. Please help.

There are only two versions. It's either HD or 4K. Both support 60 fps. You can check it in the settings.

Hey there swong10,

Yes, there is the Chromecast with Google TV 4K, and the Chromecast with Google TV HD. The 4K supports resolutions up to 4K, while the HD supports up to 1080p, and both devices support 60 FPS.

I hope that answers your question! Let me know if you had anymore.

Thank you,
Jeran

Thanks.

It is very confusing that there are so many different packaging for Chromecast.  They all labeled as Chromecast with Google TV 4K.  But some add the description of 60 fps and some don't.

Thanks

Also, some shows the model name and some shows a SKU model name, and they are different, as I mentioned in my original request, so confusing.

Hey there swong10,

Of course, no problem! I also understand where your confusion comes from, it's pretty easy to get the devices mixed up when they look the same, and almost have identical names. In the meantime, do you have any more questions or need any additional help?

Thank you,
Jeran
