Dolby Vision HDR

When using the Chromecast with Google TV, does the TV also have to support Dolby Vision for it to work or does the dongle do all the work?

Hi @emmamilton

Your TV has to support Dolby Vision and HDR to get it working. It has to do with the TV panel itself.
By adding a Chromecast Google TV to a TV doesn't add Dolby Vision or HDR to any TV without support. 🙂

Many thanks for the speedy reply which confirms what I suspected but surprisingly couldn't find a definitive answer searching elsewhere online!
