I am fed up with chromecast constantly losing wi-fi signal. None of my other devices have this issue only chromecast. It doesn’t want to reconnect via links or google home so I have to unplug from power source then after a few mins plug it back in.  Any troubleshooting ideas. I’m starting to regret purchasing it now.

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast. Let's sort this out.


A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the LED status on your Chromecast? Are you getting any messages when connecting it to the network? 


Try these steps below:


  1. Make sure the Google Home app is updated.
  2. Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  3. Reboot your mobile phone.
  4. Use a different mobile phone.
  5. Factory reset your Chromecast.
