Full remote unavailable. Make sure your streaming device has the latest software.

I have the Google tv and I use an iphone 12pro. I was able to use the remote through the Google home app and then is just stopped and when I select the remote again it say, "Full remote unavailable. Make sure your streaming device has the latest software."

Everything is updated. I restarted the Google tv and also tried see deleting the home app and then the same problem occurred.

Haven't found anything online that is helpful with this issue

Hey there MicahCrump,

I'n sorry to hear that your Virtual Remote is acting up! I can imagine this issue is pretty frustrating, so I'd be happy to help you out. First, check for updates to the Google Home app again, as there was a recent update. Then, I would clear out the cached app data on the Google Home app, to make sure there isn't any old data affecting the remote. To be safe, update everything in the Play Store as well, as other Google apps, such as Google Assistant, could affect this as well.
