Google Chromecast with Google TV Storage Access Stopped Working

I have been unable to access the USB Hub Storage option through the Chromecast Settings Interface since a recent update.  When I select the USB Storage through the screen, the display reverts to Home.  I unable to access any settings options.  This is a change from a few months ago when I could adjust the USB storage settings.  This behavior was previously reported but has not been fixed:  Chromecast with Google TV July update seems to hav... - Google Nest Community

Hey there pracom,

I'm sorry to hear that your USB storage and the Chromecast aren't playing nicely. Troubleshooting these issues can be finicky, so I'd be happy to help out. It looks like in the old thread you linked, Ajkvancouver was able to get his to work with a higher power supply, 65W. What wattage does your hub have? Of course, I would also double-check to make sure that your Google TV's firmware is up-to-date.

I have a 45W power supply which, by all discussions I've read, should be more than adequate to power both the Chromecast and the hub.  The important fact is that the storage access was previously working using this same power supply.  The firmware is set to automatically update so it should be the most recent version.  Can you tell me what the current firmware version is so that I can confirm that it is up to date.

The latest firmware version for the Chromecast with Google TV 4K is QTS1.220504.008.

Yes, that is the version installed on my device. Do you have any other suggestions for troubleshooting my issue?
