On my Sony Google TV some of the Disney Plus trailers are played in French even if the language is set for English (United States). I have selected a different English language and the results are the same. When I play the movie the correct language is used, this only happens for the trailers displayed on the home screen of the TV. The trailer from the Disney Plus app is played in the correct language: English. My take is that somehow Google selects the wrong version of the trailer. This started to happen recently.

I have exactly the same problem with English (US) or any other English and German. My Google TV and all my streaming apps, as well as my assistant, are in English. Using Disney+, Netflix, or Amazon Prime the trailer language and description texts are in English but on the Chromecast with Google TV home screen, the titles, descriptions, and trailers of suggestions keep switching to German. Didn't find out yet why they sometimes appear correctly in English before they switch back to German.

Hey there Stef-7,
I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that language issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can imagine it's pretty jarring to the wrong language on movie trailers. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

Hey Jeran,
Before this topic gets closed, I'll answer those questions in Stef-7's stead.
I have set German as the second language of my Google Assistant with English (US) as the first. I need this because of pronunciation errors in Maps if I have only English. This should not be a problem, in this case, I hope?
Fact is, only on Google TV all the trailers are shown in German. The apps themselves show them in my chosen language as I want them to.
Best Regards
