Google tv kids profile availability list

I've been trying to setup Google tv kids profile but can't see the option.

I wonder if there is a list of countries where the feature is available. This will help me troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks for reaching out. The Kids profile is available in the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, and Spain. You may use this support website article to see how you can set up a kid profile on your device. 

If you still can't see the option, please make sure your Chromecast with Google TV has the latest software. Rebooting and resetting your device might also help.

Hello Jennifer,

unfortunately proposed solution did not work.

My Google TV is:

Google TV / Chromecast

Android TV OS version: 12

Patch level: October 1, 2022

Android TV OS build: STTE.220920.015.A.19261725

When following the instruction and I go to Top right and select my account, I only have Choose an account:  either mine or +Add account. When I choose my account, I am back to main screen. If I choose to add an account and try adding my daughter's account (controlled with Family Link), I have an on screen error:

Can't sign in on this devce

Something went wrong.

The software on this device isn't compatible with your child's Google Account. To learn more about devices that are compatible with your child's account visit g.co/famililink.

Thanks for getting back to us. Could you please try to remove your child's account in your family group then re add it? Here's a guide: Manage your family on Google.

I removed the child account from the family group, then re-added it.

Added the account in Google TV as a regular account, there is no option to add a child account. 

The last step was to add the child account under Family link for parental control. When adding the account the message was that Google account won't work on some of their devices, i.e. Google Chromecast Google TV.

Then family link plugin prompt on Google TV came and asked me to instal. After the install the child account was signed off and no longer allowed to sign in.
