HBO Max on TCL Google TV breaks on 4K content

I know it's not the actual product but I wanted to see if others in the ecosystem have seen it:

When I try to play something like Dune or Zack Snyder's Justice League, the video looks like it starts but then it sits there. Sometimes I can get it moving if I skip forward or backward or start over and skip a bit but that's the only way. I don't know if it's an Android issue, an HBO issue, or a TCL issue.

As I said, I know it's not the direct product here but the OS, for the most part, matches and I wanted to leave the question. Thank you.

The first places were yiu should try seeking support are the HBO and TCL support teams.

If you experience this kind of behaviour on other applications also, you might want to check the internet speed, but if you have this problem only with HBO max, it may wery well be an issue on their part. There are complaints on HBO Mac functionality on other TV brands also, including TCL.
