My platform was not listed above so I selected ANDROID, for lack of a better choice.
I have an Emerson TV model number LE320EM3. Currently I have a Chromecast 2nd Generation and it works fine. However, in viewing the REQUIREMENTS FOR 'CHROMECAST WITH GOOGLE TV' states the TV MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH a TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3.
I DO NOT HAVE A CLUE WHETHER MY TV MEETS THAT REQUIREMENT.
Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Basically if you have a 1080p or higher resolution TV with HDMI it's going to have higher than HDCP 1.3. You can always look up the tech specs of your TV and it should list HDCP version. Newer TVs that have 4k will have HDCP 2.2 or 2.3
