Thanks for posting in the Chromecast Help Forum.

Does your location have a captive portal (campground, apartments, dorm, hotel, etc) that requires a login? When the captive portal settings are enabled, these settings can prevent your Chromecast device from properly connecting to your mobile device or computer. -- See What router settings do I need to set up Chromecast?

I'm afraid links to previous support articles simply redirect to GoogleNestCommunty.com. In this case the URL redirected to - https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/?visit_id=637716595225694390-3846029725&rd=1

Hey there MXMLLN,

It seems Google has taken down the old community, along with the links to it. The threads that were made here at the end of August were to bring over some older threads that were still active at the time. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to create a new thread, so we can address them.

Best regards,

Jeran

Have a good one!
