I am real sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to disable the Assistant? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I know sometimes I prefer not hearing feedback from the Assistant as well. If you are referring to the Assistant talking over a show, then you'll want to navigate to the Settings, then select System, then Accessibility to view the available options and disable the voice.
