I bought a Vizio d24h-g9 Smartcast TV with built in Chromecast from a private seller. The TV works great but I am having one major issue with adding the Chromecast to my Home on the Google Home app. The previous owner still has his Account linked and the TV added to his home on the app. I can link my own Google account to the TV but I am unable to add it to my Home. I am only offered to request to join his Home and cannot remove his account from being linked to it. I am unsure what to do.. I have factory reset the TV numerous times but the Built in Chromecast always remains the same and under his info. So if any help that can be given would be extremely appreciated.

I would suggest contacting Vizio support.

It sounds like they modified the Chromecast settings when they did their built-in.  They can tell you what they changed and how to erase the settings/account.

Sorry, on external Chromecast devices, you can just hold a button down and erase everything.  We don't know what each TV model did that's different.
