How to turn off "watch with me"? I don't care what celebrities watch.

Why can’t we turn off the “Watch with me”. It’s pretty obtrusive. Why would I care what a celebrity watches?

It’s pretty presumptuous of Google to push someone else’s interests on me. It’s also poor product design. Just let us turn it off. Otherwise it will “seem” like Google is once again trying to ram an agenda down everyone’s throat. 😞

No I think I’m good. Like like the only way is to turn off all recommendations. Thanks!

Google doesn't consider what customers want in UI design.  They take Apple's approach that users don't know what they want until Google tells them what they want.  Clearly, Google wants you to want to watch with celebrities - probably because they have licensing endorsements and get revenue from the "feature".  They don't give two **bleep**s what the customer really wants.

I'm glad to hear that you were able to find a work-around! I know I personally don't care about those recommendations as well, so I've disabled them as well. In that case, I'll go ahead and lock up this thread. If you run into any more issues in the future, feel free to create a new thread.

Have a good one!

Best regards,

Jeran
