I can't install the Netflix app

Hi. 

I can't install the Netflix app in my Chromecast Google TV. When I press the Netflix button in my remote control, it says that the app is not available in the moment. What can I do? I live in Colombia.

Hi again,

Although you might be able to purchase the Chromecast with Google TV in your country Google only officially sell the device in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Spain, United Kingdom, United States (except Puerto Rico).

Device availability:

The retailer that you have purchased from has imported it from a supported county.

You will need to contact Netflix as they decide what devices and what countries their app is allowed to be used (officially).

Or as mentioned above there might be other ways of installing the app without it being from the Google Play store but Google doesn't recommend using the device in an unsupported country or installing apps that are not from it's official Google Play store.

Hi lemoreno,

The Chromecast with Google TV is not officially sold and therefore supported in your country.

If you have imported a device to an unsupported country then not all features, languages and applications are guaranteed to work, sorry.

Hopefully another user from your country might be able to help you further.

I would personally ask Netflix support for help installing their app or look for trustworthy advice on sideloading?

Thank you for your answer. The Chromecast Google TV is being sold in Colombia months ago. I cant understand what happened, Even, i could install Disney+, Amazon prime and Youtube apps without problems.

I'm going to ask Netflix for support.

Also if you have the Netflix app installed on your mobile device you should be able to cast from the Netflix app to the Chromecast with Google TV.
