I have no idea which version CC I have. I bought it last month. It's white. Plugged into power and TV set.= HDMI.
Until Apple's latest update for thee iPhone, I could cast from my iPhone. Now 'Airplay' displays and my only option is 'iPhone.' When accessing Settings and finding my way to Local Network, I have a list of site links. No other info.
I can cast from my Mac Desktop using 'Chrome' then Cast to my TV. My computer accesses my WiFi. I connect through my router, and it works. I have no idea how to have my Chromecast communicate with my iPhone, latest IOS.
My iPhone has been rebooted. My new Chromecast was unplugged and replugged.
Only Airplay showing iPhone...not Office TV which is how mac desktop Mac signals that there is a connection.
Solutions, please. Thank you.

Hey there CoCobah,
I apologize for the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as these networking issues can be a bit tricky. Now, Airplay is something that is different, and incompatible, with Chromecast. I would check out this article on how to get started with the Chromecast from scratch.
Go ahead and check that article out,, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know.
Best regards,
Jeran
