Hi.
I was wondering if it is possible to link 2 Chromecast devices together.
I have a TV on one side of the room, and the AMP with the HDMI input and output on the other side. The speakers and wires are all by the AMP so there is no way to get the output from the AMP to the TV without running a wire along the floor. To solve this I was going to pair 2 Chromecast devices together, one being plugged into the AMP, and the other into the TV and see if that would work, then the AMP would get the sound, and the TV would get the video. I don't know if this is possible, but if anyone has any ideas that would be great!

It is possible to link multiple Chromecast devices together but only for AUDIO content. Here is the information about Speaker Groups:

But, it is NOT possible to create or use a group for VIDEO content.
It is also not possible to split the stream and send audio to one unit and video to another.
