Linking live tv channels in one app

I am trying to find an app (similar to Freeview) to link live tv channels in one place and have a guide for my chromcast with google tv. 

I have tried live channels app but it only shows lgoogle tv and movies app to link and no other apps show up to link

Any thoughts and help appreciated

I have rung google and no luck. 

Seems a bit crazy there is no app that allows you to link live tv app and have a guide for live tv channels. Opening and then closing and then opening another app and closing and opening just to see what is available live it useless.

The Freeview app is on google play but when I search for the app via the “chromcast with google tv” it doesn’t not come up.

The app developer develops their app and chooses what devices it can be installed on. I tried to research about this and found this thread. One of our Community members has the same issue with installing the Freeview app on Chromecast with Google TV and reached out to Freeview support. Thanks for posting. The Chromecast with Google TV isn't officially supported in India, so other features such as installing the apps or streaming Live TV's that are available in your country may or may not work. I'd suggest you send feedback about this using the Google Home app. Here's how.

Hi. 

I reached out to Freeview and it appears Freeview is not available on”chromcast with google tv” (see Freeview response below)

is there any app available for “chromcast with google tv” that will allow me to obtain a guide on live tv channels??? It’s takes far to long to open each live tv app (eg abc, SBS, 7plus, 9Now, 10play etc) just to see what is on for live tv.

Freeview is currently available on Connected TVs, iOS and Android phones and tablets and via web browsers.
 
Freeview for mobile provides access to live streams and on demand content of all free-to-air channels to enjoy on the go. Freeview is available on iOS and Android phones & tablets. From there we deep link to the each broadcasters mobile app.
 
We also offer Freeview on the web which delivers access to live streaming and on demand from all free-to-air channels to enjoy on the go. From web TV guide you will be directed to he individual broadcasters websites. For all FAQs, please visit the Freeview website.
 
Please note Chromecast and Airplay capabilities are available via individual network on demand apps only and not available directly via Freeview for mobile. Freeview has now retired its Apple TV application. Google TV, Amazon Firestick and Roku are not compatible with any Freeview products at this current stage.
 
At this stage there is no further information available on the Freeview for any other platforms or devices.

the link takes me to “google play” but not all app on “google play” appear when searching using the “chromecast  with google tv”. 
Is there an app that can be used for “chromecast with google tv” that will link /show free to air channels and a guide?

When you go to the link I've provided, choose All your apps on the upper part of the site then click on Live TV & Sports. As an alternative, you may choose from those supported apps for the Chromecast with Google TV. 

Also, I'm afraid that we don't have a partner app with the same feature as the app you're looking for. I'd suggest you send feedback about this using the Google Home app. Here's how.
