'Manage Apps' on Chromecast not working

Recently my kids' account on Chromecast reset itself, and lost all of the connected apps.

When I go to 'manage Apps' it just has a spinning wheel.

I have done a full reset/power reboot.

I have tried removing and re-adding account and it's still not working.

It has been like this for weeks and I'm getting really frustrated that A: this happened to no fault of my own, B: it seems a widespread issue and C: there is no fix other than 'try turning it off an on again'.

Please help!

I apologize about the late response on this thread, thank you for your response! Were you able to fix that Manage Apps issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know this issue would annoy myself as well. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • Does this only occur on the Kids' profiles?
  • What is the firmware version of the Chromecast?
  • Have you tried deleting and re-adding the profile?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
