I cannot connect my Moto G52 to my Chromecast, I tried resetting it, I could configure the internet connection alright, but when I want cast content from an app in my cell it just doesn't connect. Is this an Android 12 issue? Can anyone give me a hint?

Hi Jeran and Jennifer, thank you for your comments! Apologies for the delay!
Unfortunately I followed all of Jennifer's recommendations and I still cannot link my cell with the Chromecast, although I did configure it correctly after factory reset, I cannot cast content, the device shows as if I could pick it as casting device but after a few seconds it shows an error message. My husband's cell can cast alright.
Any other ideas?

No problem at all! We can try a few more things to figure this out. First, would you let me know what specific error you're getting? The troubleshooting steps can depend on what the message is. I would also check out this post posted by a similar Motorola user, and follow the troubleshooting steps that they've provided.

Hey Jeran, thank you for your reply! This Is strange, I was about to try to cast and send you the error, but I can now cast to my Chromecast alright, I tried 3 apps: Disney+, Youtube and Star+ and they all ran ok! I set up a new smart TV a couple of days ago, could this have anything to do?? 😯 I don't know but the problem seems to be solved, I believe you can go ahead and close this thread.
