Multi room audio casting using Tidal app

For over a year I have been able to cast music from Tidal to a "speaker group" created in Google Home, simultaneously to my Cambridge Audio CXN V2 network streamer and to a Chromecast Audio dongle connected to powered speakers, in 2 different rooms. Suddenly this week the speaker group has started intermittently to vanish from the Tidal app, reappearing hours later. 

I have contacted Tidal Support. However, they claim the Tidal mobile app doesn't support casting to speaker groups, just to one device. This doesn't make sense to me. If that is the case how have I been doing it for over a year with no problems, and from what I can see from the Google Home help pages it should be possible to cast to a speaker group from any app that supports chromecast, which Tidal does. Can anyone help with this issue?

Is this only happening when casting music from Tidal in the Speaker Group? Have you tried to cast only on Chromecast Audio and check if the same issue persists?
