My Chromecast Device Stil Remembers my old wifi SSID and Keeps trying to connect to it and fails

I recently installed a new Google Wi-Fi mesh system and switched my home wifi to the new SSID.  Everything worked great. But, the one thing , I still cant figure out is how to make my little Chromecast device that I have plugged to my TV to switch to the new Wi Fi SSID.   I am able to connect to Chromecast through my Google Home App in my mobile phone and when I specify the new wifi  as the network to connect to my Chromecast, somhow, the Chromecast device still seems to remember my old wifi and tries to connect there and fails ( the old WiFi network SSID is displayed as Chromecast is trying to connect).. How do I fix this. It appears that Chromecast device seems to store the SSID somewhere in the Google Cloud that is probably attached to my Google Account. But, cant figure out where this is ..  HELP !!

The easiest thing to do would be to remove it from your Home and then factory reset the chromecast and set it up like a new device.

I do not even see Chromecast device as part of my Google Home app now. I have tried the Factory Reset a few times and it does not seem to help, either. Let me follow your link and try again. May be I am missing something.
