My Chromecast is no longer on my Home app - So I have no way to ever use it again. RIP. WTF?!?!?!?!

So I disconnected my Chromecast and deleted it from my Home app. Except the actual Chromecast didn't do that, so now it is still connected to a WiFi I don't have access to.

Since Chromecast is no longer on my Home app, I literally have no way to do anything to my Chromecast. This is honestly the stupidest bug ever and I feel like someone just robbed my f***** house...

Just reset the Chromecast and set it up as new. While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the side of the Chromecast. The LED should begin to blink orange. When the LED light turns white, release the button and the Chromecast should then restart.

That should get it back in the app and you will have your Chromecast back.

I removed my chromecast from the home app, but the chromecast didn't cooperate. So now i have no way of ever controlling/using it again.

Not only did google steal my chromecast but now I have to go buy another one from them.... brilliant business plan

I've been waiting over 30 minutes now for my TV/Chromecast to realize that I've disconnected it from everything... My TV should be showing a pairing code but it keeps acting like it's connected... it's definitely not. I made it forget the WiFi, then I removed the device from my Home app. It still won't do anything.

I did this exact same procedure yesterday, because I had to use different WiFi for one day, and it all went perfect. I do the exact same thing today, and the TV still glitchingly shows up in my home App for 1 millisecond and then disappears... wtf... it won't disconnect

Wtf man, ty for help

Update... It just disconnected from the old WiFi for a second, and I saw "Disconnected from [WiFi name] trying to reconnect..."

This mf device is laughing at me...
