I have chrome cast on two TVs and they have worked perfectly before however six weeks ago they stopped working completely. they will no longer connect to Wi-Fi.
I’ve done everything from resetting, rebooting devices, wifi, routers etc and finally today I went and bought another one. No luck …it will not work either !!! I’m completely frustrated and out of options I’ve googled and followed every single suggestion in every forum and Google Help Bible what shall I do very disappointed with this piece of technology which I have recommended to many friends over the years.
I ’m more disappointed that there is no way to contact Google 😐.

The latest firmware is the culprit. It doesn't connect to 5ghz higher channel 149 onwards.
