Had to change our wifi password, I now cannot change it for the chromecast attached to my tv. Works perfectly on the other tv (android)
I have rebooted the modem 10 times, have unplugged/replugged, turned chromecast off and on at least 15 times. White light is on. I have the most up to date Google home app on my iPhone. It’s the dark grey chromecast. It’s not showing on the app anywhere. Please help.

The easiest would be to factory reset your Chromecast then set it up from scratch.

I'm experiencing the same exact problem, and their explanation of factory reset has me even more confused! So frustrating.

TVMum and SCWilson, how's it going? Still need help? If so, please also try to manually connect to the Chromecast SSID. Here's how: Go to the phone Settings > Open Wi-Fi and connect to the Chromecast SSID (Example: Chromecast1234, Living Room TV, Bedroom TV, etc.) > Go to the Google Home app and try to set up again.
