Thanks for reaching out. Is this only happening when casting video content from the MLB app? Have you tried casting from a non-Android phone and check if the same issue persists? Please reinstall the affected app and reboot your mobile device. Checking for pending software updates on your phone and rebooting your Chromecast might also help.
