No audio in HBO MAX on Chromecast with Google TV using Bluetooth

It was working before but now it is not any more.

I've tried reset the Chromecast, uninstall and reinstall the app, nothing is working 

Other apps work fine but only HBO Max has this problem

Any body else has this issue?  Any solution?

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
  • Do you have a soundbar connected to the TV?
  • Is the sound disabled in the HBO Max settings?

Thank you for responding back, firmware is QTS1.210311.008.7350836.

I've notice this last week.  And I don't have any soundbar connected through Bluetooth or any sound  system, just the headphones, all other apps works.  There is no sound setting on the max that I know of, if you do know please let me know

No problem at all!

 

If the issue is only happening with HBO Max in particular, it may be worth checking out their help center to see if they have any solutions. Aside from that, it may be worth disconnecting and re-connecting those headphones to see if that resolves the issue.
