Not Able to setup my Chromecast Model H2G2-42

I restore the device to default setting, holding the button on the chromecast, flashing in red color, then to white color, I can see the device on my cell phone with the factory name, then i trying to charge on the TV but then nothing happens.

Previously was working properly, but now is not working, could you help me to provide me if I need to do something else please.

Hey there iscrobertojuver,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that setup issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • After setting it up, what color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
  • Are you able to see the Chromecast with another device, such as a computer or tablet?
  • Are you connecting to a 2.4GHz network?
