I opne up my Google home app on my android and it connects to my Chromecast, however when I press "cast my screen" nothing happens at all.
My chromecast stays on the ambient screen and nothing happens in app either.
Any fix? I bought my chromecast specifically to cast my screen.

I was having the same issue. I just rebooted the phone and it worked after that.

Hey folks,
@Ratatat, glad to hear this has been sorted out, and thanks for sharing the step that helped you resolve the issue. I appreciate it.
@Tatties, still need help with this? If so, please make sure your Android phone is running on Android 6.0 or later. Also, turn off Power Saving Mode on your Android device. Power Saving Mode can limit the processing power of your device which might affect the performance of the Cast Screen feature. Rebooting your phone as suggested by Ratatat might also help.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Jennifer
