Paramount + casts to one chromecast but not the other

Yesterday, paramount + stopped casting to one of my chromecast but still works on the other. I’ve deleted and downloaded the app several times and still the same issue. Any ideas?  Thanks!!

Hey there PTS29,

 

I apologize for the late response; thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as these kinds of issues can be tricky to troubleshoot. The first thing I would check is if you are able to cast any app to your Chromecast. If not, I would check the LED light on the Chromecast to see if there are any errors. If you are able to cast from other apps, see if you are able to cast Paramount+ from another phone or tablet. That way, we can narrow the problem down a bit further.

I'm having trouble with Paramount+ as well. It won't connect from my laptop or my iphone. I'm not having trouble with my other subscriptions. Anyone else having trouble with it?

PTS29, how's it going? Did you manage to get your device working?

 

Dan77, I'm sorry to hear that you're also experiencing an issue casting from Paramount+ to your Chromecast. Please try to clear the cache and data of the Paramount+ app then reinstall it. Rebooting your Chromecast, mobile devices, and Wi-Fi router might also help.

I did solve the problem, thanks. I rebooted my Chromecast and have been streaming from my phone rather than my computer.
