Paramount plus live tv wont clear the guide

As of this morning when I watch live tv on paramount and my chromecast with google tv the guide that comes up won't go away. I've restarted tried other apps..nothing fixes it.

I got the same issue using Fire Stick. The channel guide won’t disappear. Tried reinstalling and updating app already.

my mom has a smart tv and it is working fine. I am thinking it is probably a paramount issue.

Mine is doing the same thing. I’ve tried everything to get it off of there

I called Paramount Plus customer service and they could not fix it.

They told me to clear cache, clear data, update my Fire OS, restart Fire TV. Still there is an issue.

their customer service is horrible. After 10 months of the app not streaming for my local live station I finally fixed it myself - I had to get a new chromecast because it does not work with the 1st gen.

New chrome cast u mean download new app?

no - I had the first chromecast that came out, also tried the 2nd one. Neither would stream local cbs station. I then purchased the newest chromecast with google tv and it worked fine. Now the issue started this morning with the guide stying on screen over the whatever show I am watching. 

Yeah that’s the problem I have streams fine but the guide won’t go off 

yep...I am thinking it is a paramount issue and their CS is terrible.

Mine is fixed to. Below is the email the responded to my case:
