Prime Video Buffering

Prime started buffering approximately a month ago. I have 2  chrome casters and it happens on both of them.  I have uninstalled And reinstalled the app cleared the cache unplug and repluged everything. Other apps are working fine and prime is working fine on other devices. I noticed that someone else had the same issue was it resolved if so how?

Thanks for reaching out to the Chromecast Community forum! Let's sort this out.

 

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? If you're casting from a mobile device, is the Operating System (OS) updated? Are there other apps that actively run on the mobile device?

 

Try these steps:

 

  1. Disconnect from Chromecast, then recast.
  2. On the casting device, toggle Wi-Fi off and then on.
  3. Close any resource intensive apps that are open.
  4. Make sure you have a stable and strong Wi-Fi connection.
  5. Reboot your mobile phone and Wi-Fi router.
  6. Factory reset your Chromecast.
