Recommendations aren´t updated and some apps don´t even show recommendations

I use several apps in the Chromecast for Google TV and I run through the recommendations and clicked on "dislike" on several of those recommendations. After that, the recommendations are still there and I then wonder if I need to wait several days for the recommendations to be deleted and replaced by other series and programs? I tried to shut down my Chromecast and turn it on again but the same old recommendations were still there.

Also, on some occasion I got recommendations for just one single app although I use several apps and in all of them, I use individual favorite lists and I´ve also run through recommendations within specific apps and both liked and disliked several series and movies. Why am I then shown recommendations only from one single app?

I´ve also noticed that several streaming apps don´t have the functionality to show recommendations within the Chromecast with Google TV, why is that? Should I just wait and see if the individual apps eventually do offer recommendations or what can I do?

It does build a list based on your patterns and only certain apps are able to offer recommendations.  Saying this, keep interacting with it and telling it what you like, and long press on items you want to hide, it will learn and show more relevant stuff for you!

I have exactly the same issues as Anne-Catherine. I tried the same actions. All too no avail. Too be clear I have been in AI since 1991 and this makes no sense. As soon as the algorithm receives new input it adapts. Or Google (owner of one of the best search engines inn the world) suddenly forgot how to make a proper algorithm. Or they just don't care. Waiting days too too avail only means one thing: there is nothing there. Any child could have made a better algorithm.
