My speakers for my chromecast are making a static sound over the audio of TV shows. Idk how to fix it.

A few questions: 

1. What type of Chromecast device do you have?
2. Where is the Chromecast plugged into?
3. Does the static sound also occur when the Chromecast is in idle mode?

Try these steps:

1. Adjust the cables and make sure they are tightly plugged in.
2. Reboot your Chromecast.
3. Try on a different HDMI port on your TV.
4. Reset your Chromecast.
