TV has gone offline and I can’t reestablish it on my Google network

TV shows as offline. Unable to establish a connection, Google remote won’t work and I can’t access the tv remote because it is offline. Chromecast has solid white light. I’ve tried restarting both the tv and the chromecast.

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about that. Let's sort this out.

 

Quick questions: when did the issue start? Aside from offline message, does your TV shows a black screen or no signal message?

 

Try these steps:

 

  1. Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  2. Plug the Chromecast to a different HDMI port on the TV.
  3. Test the Chromecast on another TV screen.
  4. Factory reset the Chromecast.
