The RIGHT directional button on my chromecast voice remote stopped working

The RIGHT directional button on my chromecast voice remote stopped working today. I’ve tried replacing the batteries while pressing home to reset it. I’ve unpaired and re-paired it. I’ve restarted the chromecast and I’ve also pulled the power from the chromecast to restart it. There was also a software update pending for the remote, so I loaded it as well. Any ideas on how to resolve?  Again, it’s just the RIGHT directional button…in all apps and in the Home Screen.

The factory reset did not resolve the issue with the remote and the form that you linked to did not work. Please advise.

Thanks for the swift reply and for trying the suggested step. Could you confirm if you're getting any message when filling out or submitting the form? If yes, what was it? Also, please try to use a different browser or a different device to access the form and let me know how it goes.

The form comes up but when I try to submit it this error comes up. “Refresh this page and try again. Sorry, there was a problem with the form.“ Refreshing the page doesn’t help. I’m using chrome on iOS.

I also just discovered that if I press the button really really hard, it will react to the RIGHT button. But it’s near impossible to do.

Same form error occurs on Safari on iOS
