I tried the online support but questions keep going in circles and there seems to be no way to talk to a live person.
I have another post here but now it is worse. All I get is a black screen. The image on my phone was also on the screen but only for a short time and now its just a black screen.
Will this work with a Toshiba tv?

The chromecast should work on any fairly modern tv (im using it on a 12 year old screen with no issues). Not sure why the image on your phone would appear on your screen unless your casting your phones screen.
you can contact support https://support.google.com/chromecast/gethelp, step 3 gives you the option for chat or call.

It worked with chromecast until I tried google tv. After that I couldn't cast anymore. The google tv control didn't have any lights that tell if it is on or off. I have an Amazon fire TV so I don't think I need google tv so I returned it.

Hiya travistee,
I'm really sorry that the Chromecast with Google TV didn't work out for you. If a device gave me too many issues, I would have done the same. Regardless, did you have any other questions we can address today?
Best regards,
Jeran
