My smart tv will randomly say things like "There was a glitch, please try again in a few seconds" in the middle of the night. It will be 3am and we haven't touched the tv since the night before and it will wake us up very abruptly yelling these errors. I can't find any information on this system having this error when you're not using the tv.

 

Do you have any suggestions? It does it atleast twice a night and it's actually terrifying. Yes, I have my tv unplugged overnight now, but I should not have to do that.

Please, verify if you set your TV to update its operating system during standby mode. If it is setup this way, please disable it.

Next, if there are any updates available, install them and wait until the TV restarts.

You can do the same with application updates, by turning off autoupdate mode.
