Update stock in 0 percent

The first time I configure the Chromecast it starts an update but it gets stuck in 0 percent, I have tried everything, reboot, hard reset, VPN, and still nothing works, please help

Hey there sergioelkun39,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that update issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out! I understand how annoying it can be when the device won't update. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • Does the device ever restart when it's updating, or just stays at zero?
  • Is the Chromecast powered by a wall outlet, and not a USB port on the TV?
  • Is the Chromecast within 15 feet of the router?
