Upgraded to CC w Remote - Casting using Voice no longer working on Mini speaker nor new Remote

This week I received my new CC with remote as an upgrade from the grey CC puck (2nd gen?) I’ve been using for a few years. I got the new device up and running on my tv - I love the new Google TV interface - but when I use my voice on the new remote, or the Mini speaker in my kitchen to cast Disney+ content to my TV, I am prompted to start a Disney+ subscription. However I already have a paid subscription. I am able to successfully cast from Disney+ if I use my iPhone or iPad. Just not using voice on the speaker (which I’ve owned for several years) or the new Remote. Using the Google Home app on my iphone and iPad, I can confirm that Disney+ appears as linked (and I had successfully cast D+ using mini speaker until now). And I am signed in to the new CC to the same Google account as on my speaker/phone/tablet.

We hope you were able to get the help you need but if you're still having trouble, please reboot your Chromecast with Google TV and Google Nest Mini. You can also check this support website article to see the other voice commands that you can use to cast videos to your TV.

 

If the issue still persists, feel free to submit another post and provide as many details as possible so that others can lend a hand.
