Very poor picture

I am casting from my Imac and/or my iphone 13.  I am casting Stan and/or Kayo to a Kogan TV with built in Chromecast.  It worked great for a few months and now all I get is sound when the cast starts the video - or I do get hazy horizontal lines.

I did reboot the TV per suggestions, I restarted my laptop, I turned off and on the wifi.

I'd really appreciate any help.

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can imagine it doesn't make for a good watching experience let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • What is the cast firmware version on the TV?
  • Does this issue occur on all apps you cast to the TV?
  • Have you already reached out to Kogan TV support about this?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
