Volume/mute features on the remote are not working on my newly installed Chromecast

Hey there jimlilley,

I am sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that remote issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I know these issues can be hard to troubleshoot on your own. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • What model of TV do you have?
  • Are you using HDMI-CEC or IR for the remote?
  • Have you already attempted to disconnect and re-connect the remote?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
